Leaves of Fall is possibly the best title for this quilt!

The colorful harvest colors used in the leaves on this beautiful fabric print, “Leaves” collection from Maywood fabrics, and the pattern are designed by Jackie Robinson. As your eye wanders throughout the repeating pattern motifs, you are sure to enjoy the perfect combination of both the designer’s and the quilt maker’s efforts!

Developed to be a bed quilt, the sashed blocks, surrounded by a border print fabric, follow the “Lily Chain” pattern published by Animas Quilts Publishing.

Burgundy, tan, rust, and green are the dominant colors throughout this seemingly traditional quilt. Machine-quilted maple leaf patterns are colorfully threaded in the centers of the tan-toned blocks. The fabrics and the batting are 100% cotton and, if you like, you can add some extra “crinkle” to the texture of the quilt, a quick washing and drying by machine will add an extra dimension to the work.
