Jewel-tones have been selected for the daimond that form the concentric lines to comprise the two stars in this quilt. All points match perfectly as the outer-most points reach well into the background fabric of a soft whispy floral print in colors that compliment the dark roses and wine colors in the star patterns.
A truly magnificent piece that must have presented challenges to the quilt maker because of the perfect balance needed with color, pattern, and workmanship! She did an excellent job and this work is of exceptional quality.
Truly a collector’s delight, there are many uses for this functional piece of art that would create warmth and drama in any living space or office space where there is a large wall for display!
