Rhyme Time, Mother Goose enjoys enormous popularity and we owe many thanks to it’s creator-award-winning artist Jim Shore. We are fortunate he shares his talents with us in such a wonderful way!

Jim Shore grew up in rural South Carolina, inspired by traditional values expressed in American folk art. His grandmother was a master quilter who taught him an appreciation for the patience and skill required to bring intricate designs to life. Jim collects quilts dating back over 150 years and he is continually amazed at the creativity and quality produced by the quilt artisans—to him “it is a high art from humble beginnings”.
