There is such a wide variety of products on QuiltKeeper.com. How do you determine what is shown for sale?

We are proud to display the work of many Textile Artists and Crafts People. There are numerous factors that contribute to our product selection including a thorough review of the product itself. Questions we ask ourselves: Will it be of interest to our customers? Is the design appealing? Will the construction and craftsmanship meet our customer’s quality standards? Will the personality of the product show well on the website? Is the artist available to create additional or custom products? These are among the most important criteria that we use to determine which products to list.

How can I learn about the value of the quilt I purchased?

Each quilt has several factors that help determine the value. Some of the factors are qualitative, but most of the factors are based on the following: The size of the quilt and the cost of materials to produce it, the intricacy of the pattern or design and how much time it took to design it and to construct the product; understanding if the pattern is a traditional one passed from generation to generation, knowing that the quilt will be one of a kind and never reproduced; understanding the notoriety of the artist or designer and how that is addressed in the construction of the product, and understanding any special meaning or story of the quilt and how that story would touch your heart. Every quilt will have its story with part of it included in the product description and the rest outlined in the Quilt Keeper Journal that accompanies most of the products.

Can I purchase a Quilt Keeper Journal to document the stories of quilted products I already own?

The Quilt Keeper Journal, published by Bound 2B Good, is available for separate purchase by contacting us at CustomerService@QuiltKeeper.com. It may also be available through retail channels, so please check with your local bookstore or independent retailer.

Is it possible to have a product personalized or have a quilt made for a special occasion?

Most of the quilted products we feature on the Quilt Keeper website can be personalized. Quilt Keeper is also happy to accept requests for specially designed quilted products, all through our You Design It feature. We will do our very best to locate an artist or quilt maker to create something special just for you!

How do I become a Quilt Keeper artist and list my products on the Quilt Keeper webs site?

We are dedicated to promoting the work of Textile Artists and Crafts People. Therefore, we are always pleased to hear from Artists who are interested in selling their work through the Quilt Keeper web site. When you become a Quilt Keeper artist, you receive a page within the Quilt Keeper web site dedicated to displaying your offered products. We handle all customer inquiries, special commission work, and order fulfillment so you are free to focus on your art work or quilt crafts!

Do you offer Gift Certificates? Can I have a Gift Certificate mailed directly to the recipient?

We recognize that there are many choices on the Quilt Keeper web site, and choosing just the right product as a gift can be difficult. Purchasing a Gift Certificate for a special someone is a perfect way to “shop together.” Gift Certificates can easily be used while shopping online, and each Gift Certificate includes a personalized letter enclosed in a special occasion card to be sent directly to the Quilt Keeper-to-be! How do I participate in Raffles or special contests that I often see mentioned on the site?

From time to time, Quilt Keeper will feature a quilted product to be raffled on the home page. There will also be some special customer contests from time to time. For example, clicking on the product associated with the raffle will take you to the right page, which highlights the details of the product, deadline, reserve price, and the price for each raffle ticket. Tickets are purchased through the normal shopping cart process. Your raffle ticket number(s) will appear on your shopping cart receipt, so be sure to keep it! The winning raffle ticket number will be chosen at random from the tickets purchased, and will be published on the website no later than 24 hours after the raffle deadline.

These raffles offer you a chance to win one-of-a-kind quilted products, which helps extend the legacy of generations of Textile Artists and Crafts People!

Contests, for example, will invite customers to participate in answering a “mystery quilt question or providing answers to fun questions. Each contest will have its own rules and guidelines, but will start with a Click on the “contest” section as a first step. Directions posted with the contest will guide the customer through the answer process and submission to Quilt Keeper.
